Terms, in plain English.
The short version: Native Me teaches natural English phrases. You pay Apple, not us; subscriptions renew until you cancel them in your App Store settings; the lifetime plan is one payment. Use the app for yourself, don't redistribute our lessons, and be kind.
What Native Me is
Native Me is an iOS app offering short daily lessons about natural, everyday English for intermediate and advanced learners. It is an educational aid, not a certified course: we don't award certificates, guarantee exam results, or promise fluency — only carefully written lessons and honest effort.
Purchases and subscriptions
The first lesson ("Lesson Zero") is free during onboarding and remains yours. Full access requires Native Me Pro: a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription (with a 7-day free trial when offered), or a one-time lifetime purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never see or store your payment details.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel anytime in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. If you cancel during a free trial before it ends, you won't be charged. The lifetime purchase is a single payment and includes future lesson updates for the life of the app.
Refunds
Because Apple processes all payments, refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves — Apple decides them under their own policy.
Your license, our content
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app and its lessons for your own learning. The lessons, recordings, and design are ours (or licensed to us) — please don't copy, resell, scrape, or redistribute them. Quoting a phrase to a friend because it made you sound brilliant is, of course, encouraged.
Accounts and data
There are no accounts. Your progress lives on your device. What little data exists and where it goes is described in the privacy policy, which is short on purpose.
Honest limits
The app is provided "as is." We work hard on accuracy — cultural notes are checked, phrases are real — but language changes and mistakes happen. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we're not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the app in the past twelve months. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law gives you and that can't be waived, including your rights under EU consumer protection rules.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we'll update this page and its effective date before the change applies. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence. Disputes go to the competent court under applicable law.
